The Story Behind Blood, Fire & Protein

On October 1st, 2025, I was surviving. Today I'm building. My name is Peter, and this is what the middle of the fight looks like.

I was pushing 300 pounds, injecting insulin daily, on metformin and gout medication, and commuting hours a day to sit at a desk while my health quietly fell apart. I was a husband, a father of two, and I showed up for everyone — except myself. Years of injuries had left me held together by screws and plates. I wasn't building anything. I was just getting through.

I didn't fix it with a transformation plan. I didn't wait for motivation.

I built a system.

Simple meals I could repeat. Reliable protein. A structure that held up even on the worst weeks.

0 Insulin. Metformin. Gout Meds.

A 49-inch waist down to 35. Every medication gone.

Diabetes in full remission.

After ten years of losing that battle.

Blood, Fire & Protein started as a three-ring binder — a laminated cookbook I put together for my dad when his health was heading the wrong direction. What I didn't expect was how many people would see their own story in mine. That response helped turn an idea into something real. Today, BFP Ventures LLC is an official company — and Blood, Fire & Protein is the brand carrying that mission forward, built for people like us.

This journey isn't finished. Every week I show up, stay consistent, and keep building toward what I know is possible. The goal isn't behind me — it's still ahead, and consistency is what keeps me moving toward it.

This isn't for people who have it figured out. It's for people who are somewhere in the middle — tired, carrying weight, still fighting.

Start where you are. Build who you become.
